New Service Rating - Absolute Zero.

WOW. I do not even know where to start with this. Service in this country has never been worse.

The three big hitters on my list right now are Blockbuster, Subway and Tim Hortons.

BLOCKBUSTER
The movies are either never there or they don't work. When they do not work you have to go back to the store and exchange. Not a big deal really, except they simply change for another random DVD for that movie. There is no checking the device for errors, there is no cleaning of it to make sure it works.

SUBWAY
The service is simply terrible. You cannot run a restaurant like that with only one person on staff. I had lunch today and waited in line for 20min. There were only 2 people in front of me. So I wasted 20min waiting out of my 30min break. I do not even know how my meal was because I didn't have time to taste it.

TIM HORTONS
Where I live we have a total of 6 Tim Hortons for a population of 22 000. This should be more then enough to have it moving efficiently. But as we are all aware it doesn't move at all. You will stand in line forever waiting; not on people in front of you but the actual staff to stop cleaning and serve you.
If your job is to clean up the area that's fine, but if a customer walks in and is waiting for service, you drop what you are doing and help them.

Service has clearly hit absolute zero. The companies named above are simply an example. It could be bad staff, bad management or perhaps companies just don't care anymore.
