Time Mismanagement

"I here by surrender myself to the great battle of time and the lack there of... I surrender my World of Warcraft account for I have no time to play"

That's right folks, I have no officially quit playing the game I love so much, and lack of time is the reason. I fought long and hard to get myself to the end game but couldn't make it due to life. When you have a full time job, kids and everything else there is no time for your video games and other hobbies. Its sad but that is life; besides at this point in my life I would much rather spend time with my lovely spouse and children then slaughter some alliance player lol.

Its hard to give up those things you love to do, especially when all your friends are involved but I am sure they will understand that I am a grown up now and I cannot waste away at a computer running instances/dungeons for end game gear just to have the expansion come out.

I was a loyal solider and assassin for the Horde. Now I am a loyal companion and father to my family. May my fellow guild mates live on forever and bring great honor to the Horde!

Whats it like being a dad?

Several times a day people ask me that question, and they always seem to have a smirk on their face as though there is some kind of joke behind it, as though its a prison sentence. To me being a father is the greatest thing I have ever had the honor of doing. My little guy looks at me and talks away being only 9weeks old, and I love it.

Sure I have no idea what he is trying to tell me but it doesn't matter because he is looking at me and he knows I am his dad, today and forever. I am the guy who will be there during the good, the bad and when he starts dating possibly the ugly, lol.

To those of you who look at me and laugh because I am now a father, I look back at you and laugh to myself, for the joke is truly on you.

To my son, Jaxon I love you.

White Knight,
Middle aged violence

It has come to my attention from reading the paper and watching the news that the majority of violence is not being caused by teenagers as one would think but by those in their mid 30's to 40's. Do we know what is causing this behavior in adults all over the world? For instance less then 2 weeks ago a man in a local bar was attacked by another man in his 40's with a knife. It turned out to be an attempted robbery.

When was the last time we heard of a teenager trying to steal someones wallet? Sure we see on TV all the time about some teen going into a school with an arsenal of guns and what have you but that's not quite the same thing. Those crimes are planned out and are supposed to be caused by a grudge of some sort. The adult violence we are seeing is simply random acts of nonsense.

People usually ask me why I do not go to the bar and drink and have a good time, well folks when you look at the kind of stuff that is happening out there to people my age... you get the picture.

White Knight,
Public Etiquette

So last week I was going to the gas station to fill up before heading off to a doctors appointment for the little guy and some jerk off goes around the line and cuts me off at the pumps. I sat there and fumed from within my vehicle as he looked at me and proceeded to pump. I do not know what has happened to the unwritten public etiquette which once was. You do not cut people off when they are in line, you do not stand in the way of someone in a hurry... unless your a cop and its a speeding ticket.

Where have all the manners gone in this world? When did we lose sight of the people around us and how our actions may lead to unfortunate circumstances in the right situation. I am not saying I would have gotten out of the car and beaten the old guy down, but I am saying that somebody out there may have.

It may not seem important to us at times to remember that lines are there for a reason, other people are the same as you and I. We are not special and deserving of special attention, as such neither are they.
