Resume of Life
I was once a young innocent like so many other in the world, eventually I drew a weapon and donned my shining armor. I fought many, some in defense, some for glory and others for the joy of it. Much blood has been spilt by my hands throughout my short 25year life, my armor now remains tarnished by the sins of the past.
I have made bad decisions and mistakes throughout my journey. Most of my mistakes were made from a sense of love, falling for a girl. I never proclaimed to be noble beyond reproach and anyone who does is a fool or a liar.
Because of the mistakes I have made in the past the woman I love most in the world now does not trust me. This in some ways broke my heart to hear. I never asked for her to love me or care for me; I did ask for her to respect me and trust me. When I look into her eyes I see fear, or perhaps its loss of hope.
Life is not fantasy, there is no quest, no great sacrifice to be made to earn the trust of the young sorceress. Without trust how can you possibly expect to continue on your journey together?
Many years were spent trying to repay the sins I had committed and the people I had hurt. I shared my wisdom with all who would sit and listen to it, but never forced. Was kind to others, when asked to help I did. If asked to defend I stood strong. After much soul searching and the binding of many demons my transgressions had been cleansed. But as it appears now they haven't.
You can never destroy the resume of life.

Self Victim?
I was told today by someone very close to me that I am a victim of my own life. I asked what she meant and she had a hard time giving me an answer. Essentially it came down to everything that happens in life I refuse to take responsibility for.
I don't think she is right but perhaps she has a point. I always believed in luck, that strange force that pushes you up or kicks you down. Lately I have been having a big string of bad luck, nothing to worry about it always bounces back.
Who of us has never complained about something that has happened to us in the past or present? There is nothing wrong with complaining about it, I once had a boss that said sometimes a good bitch will make you feel better. The old saying that you should not judge someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes stands true but should be changed to 10 miles. Walk the miles that were the hardest in that persons life and then maybe you will understand how it feels.

Adrenaline or Stupidity?
Read in the news today that a 75 year old man counter attacked a coyote that was trying to attack his little dog. A coyote is no small animal by any means; I can understand if it was a child but not a dog, and not at that age.
About 2 months ago a woman in her 90's attacked a mountain lion that went after her cat. So no we have upgraded the size of the animal, and this time for a cat.
What is going on with these people? Is it adrenaline that is pushing them into it or just stupidity?

Life in the Gulag #3
Harassment was brought up again at the Gulag. I am really getting tired of hearing about people being offended by every little thing there is. Worst part about this whole thing is that you have no right to defend yourself against your accuser.
Someone says you made an off color comment, and *poof* you get nailed to the wall and there is nothing you can do. This is a pathetic approach to justice within the work force.
The other thing is, how do these people survive outside the building? Who do you tell when someone hasn't been nice to you? You see something offensive? Nobody you have to suck it up. Work should be more like the outside world.
