The security council recently gave Israel a tongue lashing over their attack on Lebanon.
Wow that was effective. Once again the US is holding back progress for their own personal gain.

A Falling Success
I remember a time years ago when I believed I was destined for great things, big job with lots of money. Well needless to say that never happened for me. Things actually happened in reverse.
My younger brother is the one that became the success, he got his apprenticeship as an auto mechanic. I am proud of the kid no doubts there but he never seemed to be the one that would make it.
What I would like to do is become a professional researcher, that would be great. Problem there is I require a Bachelors Degree minimum and then
another couple of years for a Masters in Archival Studies.
Needless to say I am not going to be doing that anytime soon, but hey as is life. For now I will continue on my path knowing its not so bad, I have not been as successful as I thought I would be, but its only been 25years. Here is looking to the next 25.

G8 Summit: My government can beat up your government
The summit is now complete. The 8 wealthiest countries in the world sent their leaders to St. Petersburg to discuss the world and its future. They did discuss some issues, mostly those related to the US agenda.
Biggest point in the news was the shots taken at Vladimir Putin over how Russia is being run, why is it not a full democracy like the west. Does a country not have a right to be different, run things the way they want?
America cannot rule the world, Democracy does not work for everyone, for the most part it just doesn't work.

Life in the Gulag #4
Well I was reprimanded today for my breach of the Code of Conduct. I made some inappropriate and possibly insensitive comments to our suggestion box
department.
"I suggest a draw be held for every site each quarter for those who have
perfect attendance. The draw will allow the winner to randomly fire one rep from the centre."
I find life in the Gulag is becoming more and more unbearable. Everyday its the same story from everyone; the reps, management and of course the
> customers. When we ask for something simple, like time off we are yelled at and told that if we do not shape up the centre will close. Well that's a mature approach to take.
Our CEO can direct a letter to us saying the reason the centre is losing money is because of us and threaten to close this place down, but I cannot make an offer color comment about firing someone. Clearly my comments could be seen as a joke, our CEO's not so much.

Fat, Obese or Fluffy?
I was reading an article the other day talking about children in America and the overwhelming issue with obesity. Doctors were saying that children need to know the truth and the harsh reality which is "Timmy you're fat!"
I see no problem with telling a child this, the parents are all up in arms about the words fat or obese because they believe they are offensive and scaring on the child. One example made was a 9 year old girl who was 40lbs overweight; I am sorry to say that is not fluffy that is just plain fat.
I am not attacking anyone with good genetic reason for having some extra pounds, but if you are letting your child eat out all the time, get a grip. They are going to get fat and unhealthy. I have a few extra pounds that is no secret, my genetic play a strong part in that but I am working to get it off and do not hold back about it. I say I am fat, not fluffy fat. There are times in this world when you need it cut and dry folks, this is one of those times.

What is it about video based pornography that so many find appealing to the senses? Is it the sight of people nude, the act itself or is it just the sounds that are being made during that time?
If its all about the moaning and screaming then why should the radio have a channel dedicated to just that... Radio Porno. A channel where you can be overwhelmed with the sounds of hot passionate sex all day long.
Just something to think about.

Sacrifice from madness
Recently the love of my life has been having some trouble of the mind. Its as though the world around her has become poisoned and her with it. What can we do I ask myself? There is no good answer to that question, I push for assistance but she pushes back. I feel our life tear apart at the seams, our emotions pushed to the very edge.
She has seized refuge at this time, and the world shall now calm down. I sacrificed my ego and personal beliefs to protect my lady, for madness is a mystery none can explain. Even few can battle, or at least battle alone.
