Solitude

When did it become so taboo? I am the kind of person that enjoys just being alone with some peace and quiet. Curl up with a good book, quiet night with that special lady.
Today it seems as though people just can't be left alone, we always need to be with someone. If you aren't with somebody something is wrong. Well I disagree, being alone in solitude is good for people, we need time alone with our thoughts.

Some people need to be with others all the time, then there are people like me who could handle the life of a hermit in the woods. City life is great but the solitude of nature is so much better. Solitude should not be taboo, this has been a paid advertisement of White Knight productions.

I too love solitude. The peace and quiet, the escape from the drone of the world. Sometimes the only chance is a long hot shower, yet I cherish that alone time.

I'm soon to lose my solitude, and then I will cherish that quiet walk, that long shower even more.

Here's to our dream homes in the woods, Sir Knight.

I totally agree with you there White Knight, I enjoy solitude as well, being alone doing what I want to do and just think of things. I love going for runs or walks, alot of time thinking is done when I'm out there enjoying the fresh air and the peace and quite.

But then on the other hand, relationships are great too, they can bring solitude as well, just have to find that person who has the same feelings and thoughts as you do.
